Unité de distillation
Design and manufacture of a distillation unit allowing vacuum distillation or extraction.The process takes place in a closed circuit whose pressure can be lowered to 1 mbar. The jacketed reactor guarantees indirect heating. This distillation unit has been designed to allow great versatility in the type of processes to be carried out. This is reflected in particular by the possibility of interchanging the reactor (from 25 L to 100 L) thanks to the linear displacement system and to put a simple column or with a plate.
The extracted vapors are condensed in a large capacity cooler, the temperature of which is controlled by a thermostat that can go down to -40°C.
A system of valves makes it possible to redirect the condensates to the reactor to be distilled again (passing system).
All of the parts in contact with the reaction elements are made of glass with the exception of the reactor lid (stainless steel) and the return pipe as well as the valves (PTFE).
The key element of its design concerns traceability and data acquisition. Sensors have been placed in order to monitor in real time and record all the data necessary for the analysis of the process(es), thus allowing their repeatability or their evolution.
