The head office is in Bentivoglio, about 10 km north of Bologna, Italy.

The headquarters has three factories that stand side by side, as well as other service buildings (a staff restaurant and technology centers).
It extends over a total area of 38,000 m² and is surrounded by 30,000 m² of gardens, as well as parks and car parks.

This is where the central organizations for research and development, design, production, marketing and training are located.

The Organization structure has two main components:

• the Product Manufacturing Center which manufactures standard products;
• the Application Manufacturing Center , which develops custom systems to integrate with our customers' facilities.

Marposs works with the most advanced equipment to guarantee the quality of its products.
For example, the assembly of printed circuits is carried out on a SMT (Surface Mounted Component) line, integrated with opto-electronic systems that ensure excellent levels of quality with great operating flexibility. The tests are carried out with state-of-the-art equipment: the complete circuit inspection using mobile test probes performs boundary-scan type tests, the only ones that allow high-reliability tests to be carried out on boards circuit board with complex integrated circuits.

The two manufacturing centers work in close collaboration with the Research and Development department and the three sales divisions :

• The Machine tool division operates in the measurement and control sector on machine tools;
• The Standard Components division works in the field of standard gauges and components for gauge manufacturers;
• The Special Applications division takes care of customized measuring stations (manual benches and automatic machines) made to measure on specific customer request.
