BOURGEAT INDUSTRIE
Sheetmetal, Metalforming, Welding
Almost 100 years of history at the service of metal processing
The beginnings of the BOURGEAT company go back to the beginning of the 20th century when the founder Adrien Bourgeat decided to manufacture household items intended to be sold in the family grocery store.
As success grew, the company developed around its core business: metal forming. From the manual spinning technique in its infancy, the Bourgeat company has been able to evolve and innovate by developing other technologies such as flow spinning, numerically controlled spinning or stamping, which has become its key know-how.
Household items for the general public, the company has focused its development strategy on the professional market to become the leader in kitchen items for catering professionals and communities.
In 2001, the merger with the MATFER company gave birth to the MATFER-BORGEAT group, which extends the position of leader in the professional kitchen equipment market.
At the same time, and since 1986, Bourgeat has offered its know-how in the transformation of metals and more particularly in stamping to other manufacturers through its Bourgeat Industrie branch.
Bourgeat Industrie today represents approximately 15% of Bourgeat's turnover. This activity represents an axis of development which remains important in the development strategy of the company.
