Dracula Technologies has just unveiled its new “Green MicroPower Factory”, the largest factory for digitally printed organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices in Europe. With an area of 2,500 m², this Valencia factory will be able to produce up to 150 million cm² of OPV devices per year, while dividing unit production costs by 3. This new, fully automated, state-of-the-art factory will manufacture photovoltaic modules OPV which will generate energy from ambient light. These innovative and high-performance modules, integrated into Internet of Things (IoT) devices, eliminate the need for batteries. Dracula Technologies will thus recruit more than 100 additional people, creating a company with more than 250 employees by 2030.
