70 million Euros of investment in the LDC factory at Sablé-sur-Sarthe

The historic site of the LDC poultry store in Sablé-sur-Sarthe has had a facelift after more than 4 years of work. An investment of 70 million euros for the group, which now has ultramodern and highly automated workshops. At the beginning of the year, employees were able to discover their future workplace… virtually thanks to the technique of augmented reality, thus leading to organizational adjustments. The workshops are much brighter with a lot of work done on the hygrometry. Working conditions have been optimized, automation leading to a limitation of load carrying. Each year, the factory hires nearly 300 people on permanent contracts.
