SEB strengthens its electronics production in Saint-Lô

The SEB Group is accelerating its operations in Saint-Lô with a new Surface Mounted Component (SMC) production line. Specializing in the manufacture of electronic boards since 1990, this Normandy site produces 3.5 million of these "brains" each year, which equip the devices of the world leader in household appliances. Employing around 100 people, the factory is benefiting from regional support of 300,000 euros for this strategic investment, aimed at increasing its capacity. With 42 production sites, including 17 in France, SEB is continuing its industrial roots. The boards manufactured in Saint-Lô are then transported to Mayenne for robot assembly, illustrating French expertise in embedded electronics.
