Turgis & Gaillard unveils "Foudre", a 100% French long-range artillery system

French mid-sized company Turgis & Gaillard has unveiled "Foudre," a multiple rocket launcher system capable of striking targets 75 to 1,000 km away, using French or foreign munitions. Compact, armored, and air-transportable, this vehicle addresses sovereignty and war economy challenges by being produced entirely in France. Already noted for its Aarok drone, the 400-employee manufacturer is continuing its ascent with this new equipment, part of the European ELSA program. A prototype will be exhibited at the 2025 Paris Air Show, as the French army seeks to replace its aging rocket launchers by 2027.
