“Good News”: the renaissance of Made in France textiles supported by Le Slip Français

In Aubervilliers, the Bonne Nouvelle factory, co-founded by Guillaume Gibault (Le Slip Français) and three committed entrepreneurs, is reviving Made in France textile manufacturing. Located in a former brownfield site, the factory already employs 45 people and produces up to 12,000 pieces per week. Thanks to self-financing, automation, and a redesigned business model, it offers competitive prices compared to Portugal while providing good working conditions. With a turnover exceeding €1 million in 2024, the goal is to double this figure by 2025 and reach 300 jobs by 2027. This model of proximity and reindustrialization is attracting elected officials and economic stakeholders, proving that profitable, responsible, and local textile production is not only possible, but promising.
