New norelem positioning systems offer increased precision

norelem, a leading supplier of standard components and systems, is launching five new families of positioning systems. The new range includes rotary tables, lifting tables, counter bearings, adapter plates, and swivel supports, covering the full range of electrical and mechanical applications.

Electric positioning systems feature rotary tables with an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm. They are ideal for tasks such as the high-precision positioning of components, sensors, grippers, and stops. This makes them valuable components in handling systems, machine tools, and measuring equipment.

These include the high-load coaxial rotary tables (21085-02), which are driven by worm gears and can support loads of up to 12,000 N. They feature crossed roller bearings capable of supporting high forces and are available in three transmission ratios: 20:1, 40:1 and 48:1. They can be configured with or without motorization and control drives, thus offering greater customization for specific applications.

This family is completed by the series of toothed belt-driven rotary tables (21085-10), which allow for fast and dynamic rotation thanks to their belt drive system. The compact design and versatile mounting options make it an excellent choice for easy integration into mechanisms with a load capacity of up to 5,000 N at a gear ratio of 2:1.

For mechanical positioning systems, norelem has launched the range of counter bearings (21161-20). Designed to compensate for axial and angular misalignments, they complement rotary tables by providing additional support for long assemblies that require rotary positioning. Their robust construction includes plastic seals that protect against contamination, ensuring durability even in harsh environments. The bearing contact surfaces are also coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for maintenance-free operation.

For greater flexibility, norelem presents its range of adapter plates (21161-30), which allow the easy connection of different sizes of positioning systems. These products improve compatibility, allowing users to combine components such as compact and large positioning tables or rotary tables with different drive mechanisms.

In addition, norelem offers lifting tables with mechanical position indicators (21141) to provide a solution for height adjustment of components such as sensors, switches and cameras. These tables feature a position indicator that displays adjustments in 0.1 mm increments, while their modular design allows for easy integration with other positioning components.

Finally, norelem has also expanded its 30° tilting table family (21170) by introducing a new variant with a quick-release clamping system. This concept eliminates the need for tools and further simplifies the setup process, allowing for quick adjustments using a locking screw and a clamping lever.
