Control and signaling devices are essential interfaces between humans and machines in mechanized and automated production. Their interaction ensures efficient process control and monitoring. In addition to the emergency stop buttons already included in the norelem range, we now offer a wide selection of new control and signaling devices.

Our control devices allow you to configure, start, and terminate processes; they can stop entire applications at the touch of a button in an emergency. Our signaling devices indicate the operating status of a machine or system by drawing attention to changes as well as malfunctions, e.g., using colored light signals. Typically, green indicates trouble-free operation, red indicates an error, malfunction, or shutdown.

Robust and compact design, intuitive use
Typically, the actuator and contactor in control and signaling devices form a functional unit. They are therefore very compact and can be tightly packed together to form complex control panels. Norelem pushbuttons, switches, and indicator lights are designed for mounting openings with a diameter of 22.3 mm.

Other features of our new control and signaling devices include their intuitive operation and high-quality, robust design. They retain their full functionality even under extreme conditions. These individual components have obtained all the necessary international approvals and are available with an IP65 protection rating (part of the device in front of the control panel) as standard. Special versions have an IP67 protection rating. Our contactors are made of solid hard silver; all our illuminated control and signaling devices feature the latest LED technology.

Multiple usage possibilities, wide choice available
Users can choose from a variety of models, including pushbuttons (standard, tactile, and illuminated), double pushbuttons, and selector switches (momentary, latching, and key-operated). Labels with standard symbols and texts for inserting into pushbuttons and indicator lights expand their application range and allow for customized configurations. norelem offers plastic mounting boxes for its control and signaling devices, complete with the appropriate mounting openings.
