Danone invests 16.5 million Euros on its Alpro site
To meet strong consumer demand for vegetable products, Danone has decided to invest 16.5 million euros in the Alpro vegetable juice site in Issenheim (Haut-Rhin). This investment will enable the site to acquire a new line, operational in July 2022. With this investment, Alpro wants to democratize vegetable drinks by increasing its production capacity by an additional 70,000 tonnes per year. The factory, which extends over an area of 8 hectares, will consist of six production lines in total. With more than 234 references, the site now supplies 32 countries around the world
