Castes Industrie invests 13 million Euros in the extension and modernization of its PVC workshop in Villefranche-de-Rouergue
The manufacturer of exterior joinery (doors and windows) is embarking on a new expansion operation, with the modernization of the processes of its PVC workshop. The investment is valued at 13 million euros and will be accompanied by the creation of around thirty additional jobs by the end of 2023. An additional building was started during the summer of 2021 and should be delivered at the very beginning of 2022. It will increase the areas dedicated to the production of PVC joinery, from 4,500 square meters today to soon 8,200 square meters. “This extension will be accompanied by the complete reorganization of the workshop and the renewal of the entire machine park with more digitalization and improved comfort and safety for employees. The program provides in particular for the acquisition of a new stacker crane entirely dedicated to the PVC activity, the installation of a new generation machining center and the implementation of a highly automated system for conveying parts upstream. and downstream of production. The production capacity should increase to 300 PVC windows per day, against 250 currently.
