57 - Florange: Thyssenkrupp launches its new Flex Speed Factory line

Thyssenkrupp Presta France, a manufacturer of automotive steering systems, has just inaugurated its new high-speed production and assembly line called "Flex Speed Factory", the result of close collaboration with Ensam (Campus Arts et Metz trades). This unit, which required nearly 8 million euros, has the capacity to manufacture 700,000 steering columns per year. The first productions of this line should be released at the end of October. Currently, about ten employees are mobilized on this unit. Eventually, it will be operated by 50 workers. The parts produced will go to Tesla, Audi and the Jaguar-Land Rover group.
