23 - Atulam invests more than one million Euros in the "robotics of the future"
The company Atulam, manufacturer of custom-made wooden doors and windows, based in Jarnages in Creuse, has installed two new robots in its factory, on a new paint production line. This installation required an investment of one million euros by the company, an investment in which the State participated via the recovery plan. "We have a fully automated paint line, while keeping our artisanal know-how", explains Xavier Lecompte. And a third robot will be installed in the painting part of the company this summer, the technology is there to facilitate the work of employees and not to replace them. The company has even hired new employees: 24 in the last four months. This robotics of the future cost the company more than one million euros. The State participated in it to the tune of 260,000 euros via the recovery plan.
