24 - Saint-Michel recruits for its new production line.
In Champagnac-de-Belair (Dordogne), the Saint Michel biscuit factory, established since 1969, is looking for around sixty new employees by September 2022 to bring its new production line into service. Its production lines produce some 13,500 tonnes of madeleines, palm tree biscuits and other ready-to-fill for professionals each year – specificity of the site, which is the only one of the brand in France to produce them. To support the strong growth of individual pastry in sachets, the new line of the 18,000 m2 factory, which will represent an investment of approximately 10 million euros, will come into operation in September 2022. The new recruitments will replace end-of-career employees and strengthen support functions such as logistics or maintenance. Most of the positions offered do not require any prerequisites. Saint-Michel's recruitment strategy is to pay attention above all to the candidates' soft skills, before offering them in-house training.
