49 - APPI rebuilds its factory near Angers for €7.2 million

Applications et Précisions Industrielles (APPI) is going to build a new 5,230 m2 factory in Saint-Léger-de-Linières, not far from its current 3,000 m2 site in Saint-Lambert-la-Potherie, which reached capacity limits. The company, which specializes in precision industrial sheet metal, plans to move to its new site at the end of 2023. This is an investment of €7.2 million, including €5.5 million in real estate, the rest of the envelope going to material investments. In particular, the company is planning new means of production, including a surface treatment island. APPI, which recently acquired an innovative CNC stud welding machine, also plans to acquire a combined laser cutting and punching machine and a press equipped with a 4-metre apron. The investment, aided by Angers Loire Métropole to the tune of €130,000, will be accompanied by the creation of 12 jobs within five years.
