68 - Hartmann launches a new production line in Haut-Rhin

The specialist in wound care and incontinence Hartmann has just inaugurated in Lièpvre (Haut-Rhin), a 70 m long production line, intended for hydrocellular dressings, for the care of chronic wounds.

An investment of 25 million euros which aims to make this factory of 420 employees a world center of expertise for the production of these dressings.

This new production line, inaugurated recently, should enable a seven-fold increase in manufacturing capacity for new-generation hydrocellular dressings, with more than 15 million units per year.

The start of production is scheduled for next February for marketing from September.
