30 - Animal nutrition: Virbac to build a new factory in Gard

Virbac will set up a new site in Nîmes to accommodate its petfood production.

Specializing in pet food, the company wants to integrate "all processes" on its new evolving site which will integrate all stages, from raw materials to the finished product.

A new production building of 12,000 m² will therefore be built for an investment of 40 million euros.

The objective is to double the volume of production, to reach 50,000 to 60,000 tonnes annually by 2030, with a specialization in kibble.
