01- The dry air specialist Dessica begins manufacturing

The Dessica company based in Trevoux in Ain designs drying and dehumidification solutions for industries. Recently, thanks to its new production line, the company now manufactures and assembles its dehydration units within its own premises. The share of manufactured products will increase from 50% to 85% of its turnover. In 2021, this Cooperative and Participatory Company (Scop) owned by its employees and managed by Patrick Chroundière, bought the former site of the Saby Girardot company to install brand new offices and a production area of more than 1,500 m². Since January 2023, in its new head office, the twenty-year-old company has been manufacturing its new generation air dryers, which are more efficient, particularly in terms of energy. Dessica is today the only manufacturer of industrial air dryers to offer products made in France on this niche market.
