Velux (KH-SK), manufacturer of roof windows will invest 40 million euros on its Marnay site in Haute-Saône, where the Danish company settled 25 years ago. This investment will be directly injected into the construction of a brand new 10,000 m² building, the construction of which will begin in September, to open in autumn 2025. With several hundred thousand shutters manufactured every year and production which has doubled these eight years, Velux wanted to maintain this pace and increase its currently insufficient production capacity. The result is the creation of 70 additional jobs, including drivers, suppliers and maintenance technicians. The Marnaysian plant, which also develops new machines for the group's production sites in Europe, already employs more than 250 people.
