Dioxycle will launch in 2026 its industrial demonstrator intended to recover CO2
Transforming CO2 into resources is one of the ambitions of the young Dioxycle company created in Pessac near Bordeaux. In this context, it has just announced the raising of more than 15 million euros in order to launch its first industrial demonstrator capable of electrocatalyzing CO2 and transforming it into recoverable materials. Positioned as a technology provider, the startup offers the installation of on-site systems to decarbonize existing processes by transforming industrial emissions into chemicals that can be reused on site or sold to a third party. This approach, known as “industrial retrofit”, makes it possible to reduce CO2 emissions at a lower cost by upgrading existing industrial assets. Dioxycle targets industrial emitters in sectors that are difficult to decarbonise, such as chemicals, manufacturing and steel.
