Daher signs a cooperation pact with Nantes Métropole to promote responsible economic development

The aircraft manufacturer, industrialist and industrial service provider Daher has just announced the quadrupling of its R&D spending in five years as well as a committed roadmap in favor of decarbonization. To further accelerate this movement, Daher opened three collaborative innovation centers in 2022, including “Shap'In” dedicated to the aerostructures of the future and juxtaposed at the Daher site in Saint-Aignan-de-Granlieu. Through this collaboration, Daher is committed to strengthening its participation in the aeronautics sector via its research, incubator and start-up accelerator component. Nantes Métropole, for its part, is committed to developing the metropolitan manufacturing sector and supporting the actions of stakeholders aimed at an eco-responsible industry. Reciprocal commitments are also made to promote accessibility and mobility of employees to the airport area, in terms of sustainable development for waste management and reasonable energy consumption, as well as to promote the territorial anchoring of projects.
