Newheat raises 30 million euros to quadruple its power plants within three years

In eight years, the Bordeaux solar heat supplier Newheat has already opened five power plants in France and is planning fifteen more within three years. The company has just completed a third round of financing and wishes to become the European leader in the sector, by investing 150 million euros by 2026. An unprecedented amount for the company which demonstrates the strong interest of investors in the sector and more specifically in the model and unique positioning of the company. Focused on the decarbonization of large industrial sites and urban heat networks, it now combines all solutions for the recovery and production of renewable heat: waste heat recovery on industrial sites, solar thermal, storage, industrial heat pumps, combustion resources (biomass and biogas).
