Quickparts Revs Up Manufacturing Speed and Options with an Instant Quote Service for Direct Metal Printing and Expanded CNC Materials

Quickparts Global Announcement – January 19, 2024 – Quickparts, the leading global provider of on-demand manufacturing services for prototyping and low volume production, is continuing to enhance its digital ordering platform with two major advancements: the addition of Direct Metal Printing (DMP) to its Instant Quote platform and the expansion of its CNC machining material offerings.

DMP Takes Center Stage

Customers can now experience the unmatched flexibility and design freedoms of DMP for metal prototypes and low-volume production parts, all through Quickparts' streamlined online platform, QuickQuote. The range of high-performance metals and alloys available through the instant quote service includes Inconel 718 (EU only), Stainless Steel 316L and Titanium. While these three materials are currently the only ones available through the instant quote service, customers can still order parts in other materials through the customer portal.

Quickparts carries the EN9100:2018 accreditation for its metal 3D printing capability, enabling parts with exceptional strength, heat resistance and durability to be produced for the aerospace and defense sectors as well as the automotive, medical and industrial products sectors.

The range now includes metals and alloys Aluminum 6061, Aluminum 7075, Stainless Steel 316, Stainless 17-4PH and Brass; and plastics Ultem and Acetal, giving customers a wider range of choices to tackle even the most demanding design challenges. A further 38 metals, alloys and plastics are available through the manual quoting process which can be accessed through the customer portal.
