Zeiss creates jobs and increases production

The Zeiss group, specialized in the fields of optics and optoelectronics, has launched its “Ariane” project since the end of 2023 with the aim of increasing its production capacity for “Guaranteed French Origin” lenses by 25%, in its historic Fougères factory. Nearly thirty jobs have been created both in production and within the sales department to strengthen its proximity to its customers. The group has also launched significant investments with the installation of new machines for vacuum processing (ovens used to process glasses) and scheduled work throughout 2024 (demolition and reconstruction of a large part of the offices of the historic building).
