Cobham Aerospace Communications launches new line of electronic cards

The aeronautical equipment manufacturer based in Île-de-France, specializing in connected cockpits, has just launched a new production line in Aube, with the aim of increasing its industrial capacity five times faster. Cobham Aerospace Communications invested 2 million euros in this new electronic card production line in Troyes (Aube), in order to relieve congestion on its first line reaching its limit. This new automated line allows faster and better quality welding of components, followed by automated inspection of these welds, thus improving the robustness of the manufacturing and inspection processes, crucial in a sector where the reliability of on-board equipment is primordial.
