Virbac creates a state-of-the-art animal vaccine production line

A new filling line has been deployed in Carros (06), marking the start of transformation of the Virbac laboratory production system. A strategic investment of nine million euros initiated in 2021. The production unit meets the strictest international quality standards. For Philippe Astruc, Director of Industrial Operations France: “This project secures our vaccine supply chain, respects regulatory requirements, the high level of product quality and guarantees our HSE standards. This new unit is a collective success: without the mobilization, commitment and multidisciplinary skills of our teams, nothing would have been possible.” Capable of filling up to 21,000 vials per hour for liquid vaccines, it marks a significant technological advancement in the manufacturing of our pet vaccines.
