The Verkor Gigafactory announces 1,200 hires and the start of production for summer 2025

The Verkor company, born in Grenoble in 2020, is officially launching the recruitment of 1,200 people on permanent contracts - including 300 from 2024 - for its electric battery factory in Dunkirk. The recruited employees will make it possible to operate the Gigafactory and give it its full potential from 2025, with an initial production of 16 GWh/year. Verkor is also working to implement industry 5.0 to better integrate people with disabilities. The implementation of new generation practices and industrial processes contributes, through robotics and digitalization, to facilitating gestures and improving postures.
