LSDH launches L’Abeille 2, its new production, packaging and storage unit

Elcimaï has just delivered to the LSDH Group, manufacturer of still and carbonated drinks, its new industrial site located in Mazières-en-Mauges, near Cholet. Built on 15 hectares of land, the L'Abeille 2 production unit covers a surface area of 56,000 m2 and is characterized in particular by flexible production spaces, a vat room with a total capacity of 7,000 m3 , a negative cold room (-18°C) for 312 pallets, a positive cold room (+2°C) for 520 pallets, filling and packaging workshops (11 lines) with upstream stores, a high-rise store storage (40 m), with 8 triple-depth automatic stacker crane masts serving self-supporting shelving, for a storage capacity of 40,000 pallets (i.e. a volume of 240,000 m3), etc. The objective is to go from 5 to 11 production lines within 3 years, allowing each to reach 15,000 bottles per hour on average, or 400 million per year in total.
