Aircraft manufacturer Elixir Aircraft will manufacture planes in France

Elixir Aircraft, the light aircraft manufacturer, plans to open a factory in La Rochelle in 2025. This new facility will produce around 400 aircraft each year. Founded only ten years ago, Elixir Aircraft has established itself as an important player in French aeronautics. Located near La Rochelle airport (Charente-Maritime), the company announced at the end of February that it had secured financing of 40 million euros for the next five years. This budget will allow the construction of their 15,000 m² factory. Specializing in two-seater aircraft for pilot training, Elixir Aircraft is targeting 15% of the global market and plans to recruit 500 people in five years.
