Stellantis hires 450 temporary workers in Sochaux to step up production of electric vehicles

Stellantis has announced the recruitment of 450 temporary workers at its Sochaux site (Doubs) to meet the growing demand for its Peugeot 3008 and 5008 electric vehicles. From November 4, 2024, a new night shift will be set up to increase production, going from 800 to more than 1,000 cars per day. This decision follows the commercial success of the new Peugeot e-3008, with 50,000 orders recorded in just two months, 25% of which were for the 100% electric version. Christophe Montavon, site director, is delighted with this news, emphasizing the importance of employment for the region. Stellantis invites interested candidates to contact temporary employment agencies as soon as possible to begin the training process.
