The Savonnerie du Midi launches its new production line in Marseille.

Savonnerie du Midi was founded nearly 130 years ago in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), where it is based in the northern suburbs. It has just inaugurated a new production line that will increase its production capacity by 40%. The €1.3 million investment was supported by €400,000 from the French government. This new, more modern, safer and more versatile line can produce 15,000 bars of soap in 7 hours... A new tool that can now meet demand and improve the quality of the soap. It will also relieve pressure on the other lines, which were beginning to saturate, so that they can benefit from maintenance and servicing slots.
