An investment of 26 million euros to accelerate chemical revaluation at Séché Environnement
The Séché Environnement group has just inaugurated its new Speichim Processing site in Saint-Vulbas (Ain), dedicated to the recovery of chemical assets. This investment of 26 million euros, supported by the State via the France Relance and Investments for the Future plans, will double the site's processing capacity, which increases from 20,000 to 40,000 tonnes per year. The plant aims to strengthen industrial sovereignty, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, by relocating the production of critical inputs. Séché Environnement, a specialist in chemical recycling, is part of a circular economy approach, reducing CO2 emissions by 80% compared to the use of virgin solvents. The project, which includes an R&D laboratory and an industrial demonstrator for the recovery of complex residues, is expected to create 20 jobs. These efforts are part of the ecological transition and the development of a low-carbon industry in France.
