VINCI Autoroutes increases its commitment to electric vehicles
By 2030, VINCI Autoroutes aims to halve its CO2 emissions related to its activities, in particular by focusing on electrical energy. While more than 30% of cars in the VINCI Autoroutes fleet are already running on electric power and some of them are car-sharing between employees, effective solutions still need to be found for patrol vans. Two first vans running on biogas thus joined the fleet in February 2021, joined a few months later by another type of vehicle, an electric Renault Master ZE, equipped with an electric charging trailer designed by the startup EP-Tender. In addition, over the next two years, VINCI Autoroutes plans for the general public to equip almost all service areas with electrical terminals,
