A new factory and a hundred jobs in Grand-Quevilly
The Lhotellier group, based in Seine-Maritime, is partnering with TH Groupe, a specialist in off-site industrial construction, to set up an innovative factory in Grand-Quevilly on a recently decontaminated industrial wasteland. This project is expected to create around a hundred skilled and unskilled jobs.
Located on the former AKZO NOBEL site, the plant will produce low-carbon, ready-to-live 3D prefabricated modules, in particular to meet the needs of the Penly EPR construction site. Inspired by the automotive industry, this method allows for rapid, high-quality construction at controlled costs.
The site will also host a construction village with a low-carbon concrete plant and materials recycling activities. Lhotellier, which has 1,700 employees, plans to launch production in the first quarter of 2025, depending on orders. Normandy is establishing itself as a key player in major industrial and housing projects.
