A hydrogen plant to be built in the Belfort region
A hydrogen plant should therefore see the light of day in this territory which has suffered enormously from deindustrialization in recent years. If Belfort wins this factory with 400 jobs in the long term, it is thanks in particular to financial aid which comes from the fine paid by General Electric because the American giant did not create the 1,000 jobs it had promised. This plant is run by the French company McPhy based in Drôme and specialized in hydrogen storage. This plant is proof that hydrogen is becoming an industrial reality because in many areas electricity is replacing oil, a hydrogen vehicle is an electric vehicle.
