Atos-Eviden: computers will heat Angers

Atos-Eviden, a subsidiary of the IT giant Atos specializing in cybersecurity, supercomputers and artificial intelligence, is building a new generation factory in Angers, scheduled for 2027. This innovative infrastructure will recover the heat released by its computers and deliver six gigawatt hours of power to supply the district heating network, offering a sustainable and unprecedented solution to the city.

The factory also houses a quantum computer designed by the Finnish company IQM. A true technological feat, this machine promises to revolutionize computer calculation thanks to its unprecedented power, opening up new perspectives for the future.

This project is part of Atos' innovation strategy, consolidating its role as European leader in advanced IT, while promoting ecological solutions serving the regions.
