Vitrobio strengthens its production in Issoire and prepares for its future

Good news for the French medical industry! Vitrobio, a medical device manufacturer based in Issoire, is opening a new production line to strengthen its competitiveness against major global groups. Supported by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region to the tune of €200,000, this investment is part of an industrial relocation strategy. At the same time, the company plans to build a new factory by 2027. Founded in 1994 by Ravi Shrivastava, Vitrobio has established itself thanks to an innovative natural polymer technology, used by major players such as Sanofi and Puressentiel. Despite the challenges posed by future European regulations (MDR), Vitrobio is maintaining its momentum by recently certifying 22 products. With 70% of its turnover coming from abroad, this Issoire "gem" continues to develop and innovate!
