Wireless dot peen marking machine controlled by Buddy smartphone - Connect.series

Technomark presents Buddy* , its new smartphone-controlled machine. It is part of Connect.series , the first range of dot peen marking equipment that offers wireless communication between the marking head and its control unit via a secure WiFi protocol.

In order to respond to users looking for infinite marking freedom , Technomark has developed a mobile application (subject to license) which allows you to control your marking head via a smartphone . Its ergonomics offers visualization of the marking area on the screen and thus makes it easy to create marking files. If necessary, it is also possible to import them from a PC. Each head has its own license, so the machine can be used by an unlimited number of users with any type of Android 10+ smartphone. In addition, it is no longer necessary to have a code reader to fill in the variables of your marking files, it is now integrated thanks to the camera of your smartphone.

Your smartphone and your wireless marking head always at hand, so you can carry out your markings indoors and outdoors. Indeed, Buddy is a machine intended for 100% nomadic use, which is why its marking head has an integrated 22V lithium ion battery which allows sufficient autonomy for a day's work. This battery has been designed specifically for Technomark to ensure the lightness, performance and durability of the machine. It has a monitoring system called "BMS" (Battery Monitoring System) which allows you to know in real time the lifespan and the state of health of the battery, as well as the number of remaining markings.

The marking head is made of resistant engineering plastic and protective bumpers that make Buddy a robust marking device, an essential feature for mobile use. Its handle in the axis allows 360° marking on medium to large parts, sometimes heavy or difficult to access.

For this range of micro-percussion machines, Technomark has developed a multifunction support foot which, thanks to its various accessories (magnets, centering V and cap), makes it possible to make markings on small and large cylinders as well as at the end of bar, but also to maintain the head on the parts to be marked. These machines use micro-percussion technology, that is to say that they deform the hollow material which, thanks to a succession of impacts, forms the permanent marking. They have an international patent pending.

All the machines in the range are supplied with a storage dock which serves as a support for the head, and which also allows you to maintain your machine by controlling the length of your springs and the sharpening angle of your styluses.

Like all Technomark machines, Buddy has the IDI (Intelligent Driving Impact) function which guarantees the quality of the marking regardless of the level differences between the part and the stylus.

Many types of marking are possible, such as serial numbers, timestamps and 2D codes, on various materials such as metals and plastics. This machine is therefore suitable for various sectors of activity such as aeronautics, automotive or metallurgy.
