Methodological guide for the definition, production and control of sealing gasket surfaces
Description
This guide aims to provide elements of understanding on the relationship between microgeometry and sealing . It was built on the basis of a survey of manufacturers and users of sealing systems, in order to identify the main microgeometric elements to be specified and checked in order to master a level of technical and economic performance in sealing . These different elements, sources of sealing malfunctions, depend on the type of sealing used.
This book is the result of collaborative work between:
Isaé - Supméca (The Higher Institute of Mechanics of Paris, partner since 2017),
the Mechanical Systems and Materials Engineering Laboratory (LISMMA) and ARTEMA, the professional organization of mechatronics manufacturers.
