EVOline axial rolling head

The EVOline axial rolling head is considered a reliable success factor at the origin of our EVOline rolling systems. The LMT Fette axial rolling heads have three threaded cylinders with pitch-free profile rings. The rollers pivot along their horizontal axis, so that the workpiece/rolling head is moved axially around the thread during a complete revolution. Since the rollers "pass" axially through the workpiece, they can produce threads of any length and a diameter of 3.5 to 36 mm. Their modular design makes them particularly easy to assemble and safe to process. In just a few seconds and with high precision, our rolling heads produce external profiles of all types by cold forming. The thread rolling process offers you numerous advantages over cutting processes: The machining and cycle times are extremely short. At the same time, you achieve high thread strength and consistent dimensional accuracy. You also benefit from excellent surface quality and long tool life. Finally, there is no chip build-up. All these advantages combined set the bar high for chip-free, high-efficiency forming.
