Lifter for concrete elements, autonomous with interchangeable high capacity suction cups

The construction of an outdoor amphitheater required the installation of prefabricated elements in very thick concrete with very varied shapes.

Designed to handle these very heavy parts (up to 8.5 tons), with a reduced gripping surface, this vacuum lifter is equipped with an interface capable of receiving several suction cup plates adapting to each case.

Thus, some suction cups were curved to match the shape of the elements to be handled, and a suction cup was even designed to take complete blocks of steps on 4 levels, requiring the integration of a movable counterweight to take into account changes in position of no-load and laden balance.

The use of the AXITEC vacuum lifter allowed our client to install all of its parts, and therefore to install a complete lecture hall, in less than 2 weeks.
