Quantum Series

Quantum Series is a range of compact and powerful fine dust and fume collectors designed for the metal fabrication, thermal cutting and welding markets.
The Quantum Series built-in spark arrester and improved filter design allows this unit to provide the highest levels of efficiency and safety.
This unit for capturing and filtering the dust emitted ensures good cutting quality and protects operators from pollutants harmful to health. It also filters out glowing slag that could cause media deterioration or fire.
The new Camfil Quantum filtration units therefore have a double objective: to filter very fine particles (< 0.3 mg/m³, PM1 < 0.002 mg/m³) and to separate incandescent particles.
Dust is received in a 200 liter drum which ensures long autonomy and slag is collected in a 30 liter drum to isolate incandescent particles from fine dust.
Compressed air cleaning includes a double decompression chamber in the filter cartridges to ensure suction flow stability. Its automatic management is ensured by an electronic sequencer.
A closing damper controlled by a smoke detector smothers the fire due to the absence of oxygen.
Other options such as the coating device for clogging fumes (cutting of composite materials, plastics) are available.

Composed of several models, QUANTUM units can treat flow rates between 1500m3/h and 6000m3/h.

The QUANTUMs are delivered fully assembled with their starter box and tested in the factory to allow simple and quick implementation.

With the QUANTUM Series dust extractor, the Camfil group provides these customers with innovative filtration equipment through its compact design, very high efficiency filters and safety of the thermal cutting process.
