EPSITRON® electronic circuit breakers

More precise than thermomagnetic circuit breakers, the range of EPSITRON® electronic circuit breakers is designed to provide very reactive protection at the secondary of 24 V DC switching power supplies. They are available in 2, 4 and 8 channel versions, and the rating is easily adjusted using encoder wheels, from 0.5 to 10 A depending on the version. The status of each channel is indicated by LEDs. The rearmament, activation or deactivation of each channel is ensured by a simple push button. Resetting can also be performed from a PLC or an external push button via an On/Off input. Similarly, the state of the channels is signaled by a 24 V output. In order to limit current surges, the activation of the various channels is timed on power-up. In addition, the status of manually disabled channels is stored in the event of a power failure. These electronic circuit breakers can be used on all installations requiring selective protection at the secondary of a 24 V DC power supply.
