JACQUEMET GROUPE
Machining and material removal
Founded in 1926 by Louis Jacquemet, the Jacquemet company historically manufactures knitting needles, in wood and then in aluminium.
The wire working activity began in the 1960s from the transformation of aluminium. It will become the main activity during the wool crisis in the 80s. The takeovers of Manuram in 1995 and Raynaud in 2001, will definitively contribute to the establishment of the Jacquemet company as a specialist in the work of metal wire parts. and the manufacture of springs.
The family business eventually developed along an atypical path to become the Jacquemet group, now employing 130 people.
In 2015, Adec Ressorts, a specialist in flat and spiral springs, joined the Jacquemet Group, as well as Ressorts Techniques Maillard in 2017, a specialist in compression, torsion, traction and shape springs.
