“The purpose of the industrial technical centers is to promote the progress of techniques, to participate in the improvement of performance and the guarantee of quality in industry. To this end, in particular, they coordinate and facilitate initiatives. They carry out or cause to be carried out the work of laboratories and experimental workshops that are essential, and in particular, within the framework of existing legislation and in agreement with the bodies authorized for this purpose, they take part in surveys on standardization and in the establishment rules for quality control. They share the results of their work with the industry concerned. »
The CTI of the carbon-free industry of the future
To irrigate in innovation and bring into the digital era all French SMIs which, by their size, do not have this capacity of their own, requires a general mobilization. It will only be possible by combining the individual support programs planned in the regions and mechanisms for the massification of technological appropriation, which are the very spirit of the shared financing of Industrial Technical Centers (CTI).
Today, Cetim is more than ever committed to the success of an ambitious national industrial policy. Its mutualist model and the construction of a unique regional presence in France enable it to closely support the mass upgrading of SMIs. It is committed to making mechanics the leading industry of the future in France and to supporting the productive fabric in the ecological and energy transition.
An ETI of high added value services
While Cetim ensures a strong presence as close as possible to its national customers, its industrial intervention capacities extend internationally.
Its action as pilot of many innovative projects naturally makes it the unifier of major industrial projects or multi-partner R&D and this on 5 main axes: design, simulation, testing - manufacturing processes and materials - mechatronics, control and measurement - sustainable development - management and support for SMEs.
R&D partner, alongside major specialized players, Cetim offers a global and multidisciplinary offer to transform and implement scientific knowledge into applications at the service of industry.
Cetim is labeled Institut Carnot, member of the CTI network and of the Alliance Industrie du Futur.
