Created on April 1, 1978, Ricardo & Barbosa is one of the largest national references in the manufacture of high precision tools for Automobile, Electronics, Aeronautics and Oil & Gas industries, is currently present in more than twenty-six countries around the world.

Due to the high quality of its services, our company had a very fast development. Since 1984 Ricardo & Barbosa, Lda. became one of the most prestigious national companies, manufacturing precision mechanical spare parts, having been homologated supplier of

some important companies.

In a plant with 3400m2 facility, our 140 specialized operators are supported by the most modern production systems, quality controls and manufacturing equipment, which guarantees our customer’s quality and precision needs.

On March 2012, Ricardo & Barbosa SA de CV, started operations in Mexico, in a plant with 1000m2 facility, as mold and tool maker for automotive industry, automotive wire harness industry and precision mechanical spare parts.

In a highly demanding and competitive market, Ricardo & Barbosa Lda., certified its Quality Management System according to the

ISO 9001 since October 2000, as well as its company in Mexico since 2012.

The Quality concept has been extended to all company activities, including the environmental protection. For this reason, Ricardo &

Barbosa Lda., is certified according to the ISO14001 since November 2003.

And in 2017, Ricardo & Barbosa Lda., has achieved AS9100 certification, and has thereby entered an exclusive club of suppliers

manufacturing precision parts for the aeronautics, aerospace, military and defense industries.
