Resulting from the merger of several entities with complementary expertise and resources existing since the 1980s (MGP specialized in machining and press tools, Métallerie Helbert in boilermaking, locksmithing, industrial maintenance mainly, and Mat Paint in spraying and painting equipment).

The HMP group is a multi-specialist in mechanics (particularly precision mechanics) and production.
