EBERLE FRANCE

Presentation of the supplier

Founded in 1836 in Augsburg, the Eberle company has always specialized in sawing. Originally a manufacturer of fine saw blades for manual cutting of metals, particularly precious metals (silver, gold), the Bavarian company has evolved over the course of its existence to become one of the world's leading manufacturers of bandsaw blades. Initially independent and then integrated into the Swedish SKF group in 1954, the JN Eberle & Cie GmbH company was acquired in 1981 by the Greiffenberger family group, an industrial company which today achieves a total turnover of 155 million euros. The Eberle company currently employs 279 people, all shareholders of the company, and achieved a turnover of 60.0 million euros in 2023. Strongly focused on exports (91% of turnover), Eberle relies on a leading industrial tool to conquer new markets, particularly in France where the firm has a subsidiary created in 2003. Managed since the beginning of 2023 by Mr François LAUTEL, taking over from Mrs Leila Houideg, who has retired, Eberle France is increasingly developing towards exports in French-speaking countries. Located in Corbas (69), the French subsidiary of Eberle has a stock and a cutting-to-length workshop that allow it to weld and deliver in France within 24/48 hours. The sales team is made up of 2 sales assistants, 4 traveling sales representatives and a Director capable of recommending the best teeth and cutting conditions associated with the materials to be sawn. They offer the new Eberle products, adapted to new-generation materials that are increasingly difficult to cut, and report market needs to the parent company's Research and Development department. The local production organization allows to produce more than 400 ribbons per day at the desired width and length while stock management allows to deliver the entire range available in the catalog, including the most marginal widths such as 67 or 80 mm. The Duo-flex® bimetal range with the M42 and the M51 allows to cover more than 80% of sawing needs. For sectors of activity cutting alloys and super-alloys such as aeronautics, aerospace, automotive, etc. Eberle France, can rely on its Premium Line range including the CT-flex® 4000 and the CT-flex® CHM special chrome cylinder rod, whose results are very promising.
