The story of Nitty-Gritty is typically Italian: a story of talent, passion, and a bit of luck. In September 1995, three friends, with quite different skills and professional experiences, while working on stainless steel prototypes, realized that to clean welds, at least in Italy, there was no valid alternatives to paste for pickling.

Driven by curiosity, the three friends studied the pickling technologies already on the market and launched a research and technological development plan, which continues today. This has allowed Nitty-Gritty to sell more than 50,000 machines worldwide and to supply machines for the stripping of the most advanced technical revolutions.

The culture of stainless steel and the extraordinary technical know-how are the values that have allowed Nitty-Gritty to become stainless steel specialists, able to constantly improve their machines already in catalog or to design and produce machines for the electrolytic cleaning of welds built ad hoc for customers, to guarantee them an indisputable result, which makes the stainless steel shine.
